Our Safety Standards

Safety First, Last & Always

It's been proven that safety and quality go hand-in-hand, and AP Construction is committed to the safety and education of its workers. We have an established safety program that's enforced by our company's Safety Director. Pre-employment drug screening, an insistence on a drug-free workplace, and continual on-site inspections ensure the utmost safety on every job, regardless of size. We firmly believe the best commercial roofing contractor is only as good as the workers who install the roof system. Insist on having trained, experienced roofers.
Safety Standards
  • All our Key employees’ possess the 10 hour OSHA safety course.
  • Employee orientation and education.
  • Safety meetings and compliance to OSHA Construction Standard  1926 provide for an ongoing safe workplace.
  • Weekly toolbox talks, project safety meetings, and pre-job start up meetings effectively communicate our safety policies to all employees.
  • Pre-Job walkthroughs include a safety checklist for the proper equipment measures to identify vulnerable areas and the means to correct them.
Management Policy Statement on Worksite Safety

We believe that people are our most important asset and that their safety at the work site is our greatest responsibility.

When a new employee begins to work for us, that person has a right to expect us to provide a proper place in which to work, safe machines and tools with which to do the job and an environment where full energy can be devoted to work without undue danger.

We think that by living up to this responsibility we can encourage a mutually profitable and harmonious relationship between ourselves and our employees. We desire and intend to provide a safe workplace, safe equipment, proper materials, and to establish and insist upon safe methods and practices at all times.
Our concern for the safety and health of all human beings is daily, even hourly. We expect every person who conducts the affairs of our company, no matter in what capacity they function, to accept this concern and its responsibility. Employees are expected to use the safety equipment provided. Rules of conduct and rules of safety and health must be observed. Safety equipment cannot be abused or destroyed.

Cooperation between our employees and management in the observance of this policy will ensure safe-working conditions, will help result in accident-free performance and will work to our mutual advantage.
